Welcome to VidDub. By using our AI Video Translation application, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VidDub, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.
2. Description of Service
VidDub provides AI-powered video translation services, including:
- Speech recognition and transcription
- AI translation to multiple languages
- Bilingual subtitle generation
- AI voice dubbing
- Video processing and export
3. User Accounts
- You must sign in with a valid Google account to use our services
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- You must provide accurate information and keep it updated
- You may not share your account with others
4. Payment, Credits & Subscriptions
VidDub uses minutes as translation credits. All payments are processed through Google Play. We offer pay-per-use purchases and recurring subscriptions as follows.
Translation consumption is billed in whole minutes; any portion of a minute is counted as one full minute.
4.1 Pay-Per-Use
- One-time purchase of a fixed number of minutes; credits remain valid until fully used
- Pay-per-use balance is not cleared when a subscription billing cycle ends
- Minutes already used for translation are non-refundable
4.2 Subscription (Monthly / Semi-Annual / Annual)
- Each billing cycle grants a fixed monthly minute allowance
- A billing cycle is 30 days from your subscription start date (or from the end of the previous cycle)—not a calendar month
- At the end of each cycle, unused subscription minutes for that cycle are removed and do not roll over
- A new monthly allowance is added at the start of the next cycle
- If you also have pay-per-use balance, that balance is kept across subscription cycles
- Your account balance shows the combined total; translation deducts from the total balance
- Only one active subscription at a time; while subscribed, add minutes via pay-per-use only
- After a subscription ends or is cancelled, pay-per-use balance remains
4.3 Refunds
- Used credits are non-refundable
- Refund requests for unused credits must be submitted through Google Play per its policies
- Subscription refunds follow Google Play and applicable law
5. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to use VidDub to:
- Upload content that infringes copyrights or intellectual property rights
- Process illegal, harmful, or offensive content
- Attempt to reverse engineer or hack our systems
- Resell or redistribute our services without authorization
- Upload malware or malicious content
Copyright Notice:
VidDub is a tool intended for translating content that you own or have rights to use. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to translate and process any content you upload. We are not liable for any copyright infringement by users.
6. Content Ownership
- You retain all rights to your original content
- You grant us a limited license to process your content for service delivery
- Processed videos are kept on cloud storage (OSS) for up to 24 hours, then automatically deleted
- We do not claim ownership of your videos or translations
7. Service Availability
- We strive to maintain 99% service availability
- We may perform maintenance with advance notice when possible
- We are not liable for interruptions beyond our control
- Processing times may vary based on video length and server load
8. Limitation of Liability
VidDub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless VidDub, its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of the service
- Your violation of these terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Content you upload or process
10. Termination
- You may terminate your account at any time through the app settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be deleted according to our Privacy Policy
- Unused credits may be forfeited upon termination for cause
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified through the app. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Shenzhen, Guangdong Province.
